IIA Global is developing The IIA Certification Registry which will be available in 2019. A certification registry brings transparency and is common practice in the credentialing industry. All IIA certifications will be included in the registry, making it easy for employers and recruiters to verify IIA credentials.
Following The IIA Standards, the Professional Certification Board requires all certification holders to retain and report CPE annually to ensure their certifications remain in good standing. Individuals who do not meet the annual CPE requirement will not be included in The IIA Certification Registry as their certification will be inactive.
The registry will display the following information:
- Certification holder’s first and last name
- Certificate ID
- Certification status
- Country of residence
Inclusion in the registry is voluntary. Certified individuals will have an opportunity to opt-in, for free, when reporting 2018 CPE. Additional opt-in opportunities will be available when the registry is launched in 2019.
