Working in the internal audit profession has never been more critical or more challenging. Performing your job competently and positioning yourself for success is a complex and delicate balancing act.
To help you navigate your career journey, The IIA recently introduced the Internal Audit Competency Framework.
To complement the framework release, The Internal Audit Foundation, in partnership with Deloitte, has developed the 2020 Assessing Competencies in Internal Audit Study. As a component of the study, we are launching a survey to:
- explore the relevance of each competency to your role and others within the profession;
- learn how your skills, and those of your peers globally, match up to the new Framework;
- gain insight that will enable the creation of valuable resources to aid competency
What’s in it for you? Completing the survey will enable you to walk through the four disciplines and 22 knowledge areas to determine potential areas of focus for your professional development plan.
The survey is open from October 5–26 to anyone working within the internal audit profession, with any level of experience, in any position, and any location around the world.
Completing the survey will only take about fifteen minutes. Your feedback will help ensure that the framework, not only reflects your daily reality as an internal auditor, but also provides a relevant and meaningful path to follow while advancing your career and adding value to your organization.
