The Quality Assessment Manual, issued in 2024, aligns with the new Global Internal Audit Standards. The Standards contain many updates and clarifications to enhance the profession of internal auditing, some of which will have an impact on external quality assessments. The Standards also seek to elevate the quality of the assessments by requiring an internal audit function to demonstrate not only conformance with the Standards but also performance. In this open forum, you will gain knowledge and insight from experienced experts on how your internal audit function can enhance audit quality, ensure conformance, improve performance, boost your function’s maturity, elevate credibility with stakeholders, and help strengthen your organization’s ability to create, protect and sustain value.
